Daniel and Melanie take a break from their run at the Horton Square. Chad notices how lucky they are to be a family. Melanie invites Chad to go shopping with her and Daniel for Halloween costumes. He agrees. Later, Daniel watches Chad and Melanie having some playful fun. Abigail finds Daniel at the square and is annoyed he would agree to this arrangement with her mom. Daniel assures her, he won't lose Jennifer. Daniel also notices Abigail's mood does not improve when she sees her boyfriend Chad having so much fun with Melanie.
