Daniel hugs Melanie as she is still worried about her mom. He later goes to the pub and overhears Abby and Jen talking about Jen moving on with Daniel. Daniel has a surprise for Jennifer. He takes her to the park for an intimate picnic, complete with champagne and paper cups. They make the first of many toasts, followed by the first of many kisses.
