Daniel and Jennifer are waiting to visit Carly in Rehab. Daniel gets a call that Chloe is still in a coma. Jennifer can see his concern. When they finally meet with Carly she is apologetic. Daniel tells her she needs to apologize to her co-workers and she must never put her patients in danger again. She agrees, but she is not sure she will still be able to be a doctor. Daniel says that would be a loss. Carly apologizes to Daniel for keeping Melanie from him. Daniel says they have moved past that. Carly admits that seeing Jennifer date Daniel pushed her over the edge. She had thoughts of what life could have been like with Daniel. She knows now that Daniel and Jennifer belong together. She makes them stand together and she says "that is as it should be".
