Daniel is with Jennifer when she learns Hope's hearing is today. It has been hard on Carly, having to give up Bo. Daniel holds her as he understands it isn't easy giving up on someone you love. They leave Jennifer's room so she can rest. Jennifer watches through the window as Daniel and Carly hug at the nurses station. Jennifer thinks they belong together and sets her matchmaking skills into action.
