Daniel arrives home and tries to rest on the couch when he gets a call from Melanie. He agrees to see her. Daniel tries to rest again and finds Parker's pacifier under the pillow. Daniel's thoughts turn toward Parker's memory. He falls asleep and Chloe sneaks in to the apartment with her second key. She tries to seduce Daniel, but he wakes up startled and unceremoniously dumps her to the floor. He retrieves the second key from Chloe and Chloe abruptly leaves when Melanie arrives. Melanie tells Daniel the news that she is pregnant. Daniel holds her in his arms as she cries.
