Daniel confirms his dinner date with Carly for the Sapphire Club. He is off duty and will meet her there. Vivian has found out about their plans and has arranged for Carly to get detained at the hospital. She also arranges for Jennifer to meet a fictitious philanthropist at the Sapphire Club. Daniel goes to the Club and runs into Jennifer. Carly also calls to cancels their date. Daniel doesn't think they should let the fine bottle of champagne go to waste and pours Jennifer a glass. They are both drawn to each other and a kiss ensues, unaware that Carly has just walked into the club.
