Carly thanks Daniel for being there for her when she was sick. Daniel thanks her for helping see that Jennifer could make him happy. Carly is disturbed to hear the news that Daniel and Jennifer are going away for the weekend. Unable to cope, she steals drugs from the hospital. When Daniel goes to pick up Jennifer, he sees she is in pain. He decides, under the circumstances to cancel their trip. He messages Jennifer's back and when he goes to get her an ice pack, Jennifer's twisted back goes back into place. The weekend trip is now back on.
