At the apartment, Chloe wakes Daniel up with pastries she has baked. Daniel is impressed. Chloe says she will start to do a lot of things she has not done in the past. In fact, speaking of buns in the oven... Daniel looks at her. Chloe tells him they are going to have a baby. Chloe shows Daniel the numerous pregnancy tests she has taken. Daniel reads them all exuberantly, noting they are all positive. Daniel is over the moon excited. They will keep this a secret for now. Daniel agrees.
Chloe walks Daniel back to the hospital. They kiss and set a special evening for tonight. When Chloe leaves, Daniel sees Nathan. He tells him the Layton / Kiriakis wedding hasn't happened yet, hinting for Nathan to go to Melanie before she gets married.. Nathan tells Daniel he is planning a trip with Stephanie and he has moved on. He is fine. Nathan leaves. Daniel looks at Nathan walking away and sarcastically mumbles "keep telling yourself that.".
