At the Brady Pub, Daniel and Chloe have had a fight over Carly. Daniel decides to leave before he says something he will regret.
Daniel returns to the hospital to find Victor haggling with Carly about operating on him. Daniel pulls Victor aside. He tells him he trusts Carly with his life. Victor calls him a fool.
Later, Carly asks Daniel if he told Chloe about the operation. Daniel tells her no. He explains that they were fighting over her. Carly tells him to call Chloe and straighten things out. DAniel does leave a message for Chloe. He tells her he will be in surgery and will not be home tonight.
Daniel is in a hospital bed. Carly reassures him saying she will stay be his side during the procedure.
