Daniel and Melanie are sick with worry about Carly's disappearance. A nurse overhears and informs them that she did call in and said she was taking a few days off. Jennifer arrives on the scene and tension between Daniel and Jennifer mount. They agree to talk. He meets her on the pier. He wants to end things for good. Jennifer tells him she loves him. Daniel admits he loves her too.
