Daniel tells Melanie that he and Jennifer are not together. He later reads his mail that he and Carly have been nominated for a commendation. He storms into Jennifer's office and admonishes her for playing games. She sarcastically tells him she is sorry for recommending him for anything and storms out of the office. Maxine notices Daniel's less than pleasant attitude. She tells him to fix things with Jennifer.
