Daniel is at the hospital checking on Carly. She doesn't remember where she fell. Daniel told her she was at the Kiriakis mansion. Daniel orders Carly to spend the night in the hospital for observation. He also advises her to stay away from Victors.
Daniel finds Nathan with a gloomy look on his face. Daniel tells him that he shouldn't look that way in a hospital. It looks like someone has just died. He pats Nathan's shoulder and heads for home.
At home, Chloe is patiently waiting for Daniel to tell him the good news that she is pregnant. Daniel arrives home and collapses on the bed. He has to take over Carly's shift so he apologizes to Chloe that he will be unable to take her to Melanie's wedding. Chloe tells him it sounds like he has had a hard day. Before Chloe can tell Daniel the good news, he has fallen asleep on the bed.
