Daniel is picking up coffee when he sees a young boy struggling to get to the next level on a video game. Daniel offers to show him a move. the boy agrees and he is on past level two on to the next level. Brady watches how good Daniel is with kids and mentions it. He thinks Daniel will make a good dad some day. Daniel tells Brady that is off the table right now. Chloe's ovaries were damaged when she had leukemia treatments. Her chances of having children biologically are very slim. Brady apologizes for the comment. Daniel tells him they still have options such as surrogacy and adoption.
Later, Daniel runs into Lucas at the park. He asks him for a favor for Chloe. Lucas listens. Daniel was wondering if Chloe could see Aly. Lucas tells him no. Aly is having a hard enough time wondering where Chloe has gone. He will not put her through any more emotional drama.
Daniel arrives at the hospital. He checks on Carly's head injury and tells her she will spend the night in the hospital. Carly has no memory of where they found her. Daniel tells her it was at the Kiriakis mansion.
