At the hospital, Carly asks Daniel for a favor. She wants to be scheduled so she will not be able to attend Melanie's wedding. Daniel listens and still does not understand this concern Carly has for Melanie, but he hopes it works out for her.
Chloe arrives, Daniel and her kiss. They make plans for later after his 3 mile run. Carly has time alone with Chloe. She thinks Chloe should talk to Daniel about her inability to conceive. His knowing would offer her support for both of them dealing with this situation.
Later, Brady and Daniel take a break from their run and talk. Daniel teases Brady about marriage to Ari. Brady asks Daniel if he and Chloe have set a date yet. Daniel says no. Brady remarks that the only reason why people set dates is to start a family and he knows Chloe has always wanted kids. Daniel ponders and replies "timing is everything".
