At the hospital, Daniel breaks up an argument between Carly and Nathan. Nathan leaves for rounds. Daniel pushes Carly to tell him what is going on with her. She tells him she disapproves of Phillip marrying Melanie. She doesn't want Melanie to make the same mistake she made marrying a Kiriakis. Daniel is still confused as to why Carly has a concern. Carly tells him that if Nathan has feelings for Melanie, he needs to tell her instead of daydreaming on the job. Carly hugs Daniel and thanks him for being so kind to her.
