At the hospital, Daniel's vision still has not improved. Chloe sits with him. She is an emotional wreck. Melanie enters and Chloe decides to go to the Brady Pub form some chocolate cake for Daniel. Melanie is heartsick that she was to blame for the accident happening. Daniel convinces her she is not. Carly comes in and tells Daniel how great Melanie reacted at the scene when he slipped. Melanie leaves. Carly takes Daniel's hand. They are unaware that Chloe is watching the intimate moment through the window.
