After Melanie abruptly leaves the Bady pub after having a fight with Carly, Daniel goes after her. Daniel slips on the ice in front of the Brady pub and hurts his head. Carly tends to his wound and he is moved to the hospital. Melanie sits by his side, worried about the medical outcome of her new found dad. Daniel awakes. He is confused, but Melanie is by his side.
