Daniel sets off to find the motel employee. He sees him coming out of the Cheatin Heart and confronts him for information. The clerk continues to play dumb and asks if Daniel's fiancee has mental problems. Daniel is getting no where with the clerk, so he lets him go. He then calls Chloe to meet him at home so they can talk. She agrees.
Daniel is running through the park when Carly spots him. They talk about Chloe. Carly feels bad that Chloe does not trust her. Daniel realizes that Chloe has gone to extremes to get Carly out of his life. He apologizes to Carly. Daniel continues to struggle on how to handle this situation as Chloe has already rejected counseling.
