Daniel is in the park talking with Carly. He is still confused as how to help Chloe overcome her insecurities with him. He tells Carly that he loves Chloe. He remembers when they first met how they just meshed and now they just keep missing that sweet connection. Carly assures Daniel that he has been through a lot and they will get through this too. Daniel hopes so.
Melanie calls. Maggie is in the hospital. Melanie asks Daniel to go and check on her. Daniel agrees. At the hospital, Melanie tells Daniel she wants him to be happy. She hopes things with Chloe work out. She tells him that Phillip updated her on Chloe losing her baby. Daniel thinks she should not let Chloe know that she is aware of that right now. Melanie will keep the news quiet.
When Daniel returns home, Chloe wants to talk. She tells Daniel she has something very important to tell him. Daniel listens.
