Daniel works hard to save Maggie. He finds the bullet, but cannot stop the bleeding. One crisis is averted and another one pops up. He struggles to save her life. Her life support monitor flatlines and they work diligently to revive her. Lexie says they have done all they can and wants the time of death marked. Daniel is clearly upset that Maggie has died on the operating table. He orders the time of death to be called.
