Daniel takes Jennifer ice skating. Jennifer gets a call from Jack and Daniel tells her to take it. Jennifer goes for hot chocolate and Daniel tries to untangle her skate laces. His hands start to tremble. They regroup at the pub, where Daniel surprises Jennifer with ballet tickets fo "The Nutcracker". When Jennifer tells Daniel that she will be going with Jack, he says they need to talk. He no longer wants to be bachelor number 2 and feels they were just not meant to be. Daniel is thankful for every minute he has spent with her. He never thought he could love again after his divorce with Chloe. Jennifer cries.
