Victor is on the phone with Daniel, wanting an update on Melanie. Daniel tells him she is still in a coma. Phillip has headed for home. If there is any news, Daniel will call.
Daniel has allowed Carly to sit with Melanie for five minutes. Melanie stirs and becomes upset when she finds Carly at her bedside. She starts to scream. Daniel rushes in and calms her down. Melanie does not understand why Carly is there. Daniel tells Melanie that Carly has give blood for her and risked her life just being here. Daniel advises Melanie to talk to Carly for answers. Daniel leaves Melanie's room and tells Carly that Melanie would like to speak with her again.
Daniel calls Victor looking for Phillip. He wants to update him on Melanie. Victor tells Daniel he will give the message to Phillip. Philip heads back to the hospital.
When Phillip arrives, Daniel stalls Phillip from seeing Melanie. He knows that Carly is in Melanie's room telling her that she is her mother.
