Daniel meets with Chloe at the Java Cafe. He believes Chloe is not handling everything ok. He understands that with the addition of Melanie and Carly in his life that will their relationship. Daniel is upset because Chloe was able to talk to Phillip about not going to counseling instead of him. He thinks maybe they should go together. Chloe is left feeling like Daniel is only going to make sure she attends the meetings.
Later, Daniel comes across Vivian terroizing Carly. He gives her fair warning to leave Carly and Melanie alone. Carly is grateful for his help. She at least hopes that Vivian is targeting her instead of Melanie. She also tells Daniel she is not his problem. Daniel tells her that she is the mother of his child. He will not let anyone hurt her.
