Daniel is with Chloe at the pub. She is miffied that he wants her to see a shrink after her non pregnancy. Daniel knows that she has suffered a great loss and he offers to go with her to therapy. Chloe declines. Daniel gets paged and things are left a little unfinished. Daniel tells Chloe that he loves her and they will get through this together.
His page alert was from Carly. She meets with him at the docks. She discusses that giving Melanie up for adoption was not only to protect her baby, but also her baby's father from Lawrence. Carly beats around the bush. She finally reveals to Daniel that Melanie is his daughter.
